Delete it in the app
Open Route 66 Logbook, go to Settings, then tap Delete my account. Your account and data are removed straight away, with no need to contact anyone.
If you can't reach the app
Request it by email
If you've removed the app or can't sign in, email me from the address on your account and I'll delete it for you. Please send your request to the address below so I can find and verify the right account.

Here is exactly what happens, which is the same whether you delete in the app or by request:
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, your trips, and your photos. Stops you've added will remain on the map to help other travellers, but will no longer be linked to you. This cannot be undone.
In other words, your profile, your Logbook and trips, and the photos you uploaded are removed, and your photos are deleted from storage. Stops you added stay on the shared map because other travellers rely on them, but they are shown without your name. The record of stops you have passed lives only on your phone and is removed when you delete the app.
How long it takes
Deleting in the app is immediate. Email requests are actioned as soon as I can, and within 30 days at the latest. If you have any questions about deletion, write to me at hello@route66logbook.com.
